A slightly disappointing game today, the girls really struggled to find the space needed to play the ball forward and create opportunities to score. BCS were powerful in defence and cleared balls away before we could find a run forward. We also need to work together up front to link passes and use the space on the wings.
L.Hudson had a good game and was fearless in her efforts to defend. She worked hard to stop the attack getting through and made some great tackles but unfortunately they were quite strong in their efforts to keep working for a goal and we were a little overwhelmed.
The girls all had touches on the ball and enjoyed the match. We had a few shots at goal and the goalies made a few saves but we were not in the game today and didn’t seem to have the focus we needed to beat our opponents, on another day we might!
